The ProgFest was awesome, the holidays were awesome, and the CD we're putting together is the most awesome of all. The crazy thing is, after all the delays and mindfucks, I think we're just starting to hit our stride.

We're scheduled to open at The Colorado Art Rock Society's 4th annual Colorado Prog Music Fest on Sunday, October 1st, at The Oriental Theatre. We expect to take the stage at around 5 pm and we'll be performing a never-before-heard song from our upcoming CD. Check out www.coloradoprog.com for more details!

The Spock's Beard show was 3 weeks ago, and I think I (John) am finally recovered. I can't imagine trying to do that for a living, especially seeing and hearing about what Spock's Beard had to deal with during their 2 week blitz of the USA. It was an absolute honor and dream come true to open for them and we're looking forward to doing it again when the opportunity arises. The Bodragaz guys were all supercool, too, and they were very professional and helpful as we all tried to find space on stage and soundcheck (or not) in a matter of minutes. John is in the middle of a week off from everything (except family, of course), and the band plans on capitalizing on the pre-recording, rehearsing, and performance experiences to lay down final tracks for Smile and Xot over the next few weeks.
